End of the Essex Hinterlands

Updated: Oct 18, 2018

A hike around the Essex hinterlands of Wrabness and Bradfield heath, at the end of the Essex Way. This rural region is the furthest one can escape from London in Essex, aside from Harwich, and then a ferry to the Netherlands. By geographical comparison, this is the polar opposite to where the Essex Way begins in the East End, with an array of stories and landscapes in between [and far less fake tan and sports cars than stereotype prescribes].
