Heritage vs. Time
Additive Architecture: Cultural Preservation
Follow up residential project from the 'Neighbourhood Plan'. This project is set in Faversham but 300 years in the future. Many coastal regions of the UK have a very different landscape from the centuries before. The architectural demands of the future are now extremely different. Architecture and engineering have become the occupations that enable the now enormous population to sustain itself. This project enables the existing housing to rise with the increasing sea levels and be expanded upon to cope with the growing population. Culture is now extremely important to preserve as many of the existing landmarks are now underwater.
